History
ASC Direct, Inc. was formed over 15 years ago by George Washington to bring the many benefits of German-manufactured language lab technology to the United States educational community. Mr. Washington, a native of Nelson, Lancashire, England, has over 40 years experience in the language learning field.
After many years as a national sales representative for other companies in the language lab industry, Mr. Washington brought his own vision of customer service, product excellence and corporate integrity to fruition in ASC Direct, Inc.
Mr. Washington started ASC with one product, the DI-7 analog lab, which was upgraded to become the DI-8. The first digital lab sold by ASC Direct was the German-manufactured Esprit. In 2002, the ReLANpro, a VoIP system, manufactured by Renet OY of Finland, was added to the product line.
Next came the Onic DL110 , a digital media language learning system from Tekeye of Taiwan, a manufacturer of over 300 audio-visual products.
In 2008, ASC Direct became the sole U.S. importer for the network version of EuroTalk, Europe's best-selling language courseware.
Mr. Washington's desire to bring the latest technological advances to educators everywhere ensures that our product line will evolve as new products become available.
ASC has engineering and support staff on hand to plan, demonstrate, install and service our systems. We are the only national language lab company that employs a full-time professional trainer whose only goal is to ensure that each user fully understands and is able to use all the features available with their lab.
Our philosophy is simple--our users come first! It is this attitude, complemented by our Christian work ethic, that has allowed ASC Direct to become a leader in language learning technology.
