To guarantee longevity, the SD-110+ student panels are robustly designed for the rigors of educational use. The switching panel that allows the student to operate their individualized recorder is spill proof and yet each button offers the student tactile feedback responses letting the student know when each button is pressed.
The panels offer the students control over the teacher programs which are now stored digitally in the teacher computer. (Up to 3:00 hours at a time for each student)
The student can interact with the teacher program, recording their responses. (Level III operation) All of these operations are accomplished without the need for mechanical tape drives which caused problems with old language labs.
The SD-110+ student panels offer high quality, stereo sound reproduction and have 16 levels of volume adjustment. The student can set up to 100 digital “bookmarks” enabling them to return to a pre-set point in the program. Digital audio editing includes SBL (Skip Back Listen), SP, (Sentence Pause) SSP, (Sentence, Sentence Pause), SPSP (Sentence, Pause, Sentence Pause) modes. An Attend button and Call Teacher button are provided for roll call and teacher calling.
